Hi, Amy...this about things long overdue, and about your announcement / offering in church, which I believe is United Methodist. I hope you & your congregation rejoiced together at the long overdue, grace-filled decions made at General Conference last week as we move to become an inclusive church. Blessings to you and yours, Rebecca

I, too, was happy to see the United Methodist decisions this week.

I too have come across long-ago written notes that went undelivered. I understand and appreciate the phenomenon of finding them again and appreciating their meanings.

My granddaughter has talked about her “other family in China” while she and her family lived with us. She was 3 to 5 years old at the time.

Amy, this research in a medical school is amazing. Thanks for sharing. The psychic Edgar Cayce spoke about "incarnation" during many of the readings he gave while in a trance-like state (hence the name "Sleeping Prophet.") He said that we travel in "soul groups" with many of the same people from one life to the next.

I read that story earlier this week and found it facinating. The older I get the more I realize I don’t have a clue how I got here, why I’m here, or where I’m going afterwards but man it’s been a ride!

It's been awhile since I read a One Good Thing, and I feel as if I've neglected you, Dear Amy! I just love reading both of these stories, one about the, perhaps, imaginary people and experiences, and the other about the lost thank you and check! Fascinating!

I read your column in our used-to-be-daily local newspaper that now arrives at home only Wednesday - Saturday. (Monday and Tuesday are online.) And, The Denver Post still features your column, but that newspaper is only online. Thank you for still being there for us!

An acquaintance told me this story. She was washing her three year old daughters hair in the tub when her daughter said, "I am so glad you are my mom now." She asked, "what do you mean?" Her daughter said, " I did not like that other mom, the one I had before you, the one with the dark hair. She was mean to me, you are the nice mom." Thanks for your column and newsletter. I am a big Dear Amy fan. I appreciate your cut to the chase truthfulness and wisdom, and yes I do like the humor.

The older I get the more I know there is a true connection between humans, animals, nature and spirits. And I love it! I’m glad your funeral committee finally got their thanks…. They are worth gold!

Oh my gosh! Yes! I read that article earlier this week and immediately sent it to a few friends and discussed it at length with my husband. I found it fascinating. Off topic, you have beautiful handwriting!
