A "Strawberry Moon" yields an unexpected crop
Last night, the “Strawberry Moon” directed its milky white tractor beam directly into my eyes and woke me up so abruptly that I thought the smoke alarm had gone off.
I took this picture at 4am. (Yes, those are the painted-over windowpanes of my very old house.)
What are we to make of this moon?
It is not strawberry colored, or shaped like a strawberry.
