Returning to my happy place brings me back from the brink

The global pandemic has prompted me to be grateful for my many privileges: I live in a safe rural area. I don’t have young children or elders at home to take care of and worry about. I have worked from home for many years and have continued my work without interruption. My family and I are healthy and have remained healthy throughout.
